Hi. I decided last night when I went to sleep that today I would refund all those who donated money to me. I appreciated it very much but with every donation I felt a bit strange. It doesn't help that Stem Cell treatment is unproven and that my parents constantly harp on about the fact it is; unproven, that it wont work, and, that it's a waste of money.
What is medical proof though. Apparently Paracetamol is proven. Now I am not a huge fan of taking meds so I have only ever had a few but I am of the opinion that a large portion of the 'medicly approved' meds available in the UK are at best useless and typically harmful. Stem Cell treatment is currently undergoing a double blind placebo controlled trial in England. The same sort of trial passed paracetamol for sale in the UK so regardless of the result I still feel the science behind fetal stem cell therapy is worth trying. Maybe it'll work for me. Maybe it wont.
So today I have refunded everyone who has made a donation - which is why the money count has gone down. However, I still intend to get enough money to have this treatment. I hope I can afford it sooner rather than later. I know stem cells are not magic cells. They aren't that amazing but if I had got the treatment say two years ago I would probably be alot better for it now. A small change could still make a huge difference but there is a point where the treatment won't...

Hi, I have just updated the money count. I'm currently putting all the revenue from the P3tz licenses into this fund - which incidently is a few hundred dollars a month.
Remember you can buy prints from deviantART! I am also doing a _huge_ project at the moment. It's animating a pixel town [800x600] there is a day and night cycle and 480,000 pixels of animation...

Well not much has been happening lately. I've been trying to promote my art, this site and things recently. I posted a (factual) news article at deviantart the other day [link] about FA.
I said I would do a webpage like this one for Aimee who is also trying to raise money for some Stem Cell treatment. So that'll be coming soon. Anyway thanks to the people who have bought my prints and sent me a donation...

Hello :) I'm going to work on a blog soon so I can post cutting edge news about me and this fundraising.
I had an idea the other day about doing a sponsored sky dive to raise some money. I like roller-coasters and thrill rides but a skydive is a bit more extreme. I think I'll try and sort one out though it'll be something to do!

Ok so I am really doing my best to get this site noticed.
There is another site: http://www.relieflink.com/ Where you basically buy a word and link to your site and the money is donated to a worthy cause. At present very kindly I am the benefactor but I'm sure this site is a good idea and it helps alot of different people and charities. Basically you get some advertisement for your site and help someone at the same time.
I have been considering starting a blog to document this whole thing. I think I probably will soon (tm).

The idea?
- First I plan to get enough money to afford some stem cell treatment.
- Then I intend to have the stem cell treatment.
- This site will be a record of that process - the before and the after (if it ever happens).
